TALIS

Teaching and Learning International Survey, which is administered by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), is the first international survey to focus on the learning environment and the working conditions of teachers in schools. It fills important information gaps in the international comparisons of education systems and offers an opportunity for teachers and Heads of School to give their input into education analysis and policy development in key policy areas. It also allows countries to identify with other countries facing similar challenges to them, and to learn from their policy approaches. Malta participated in TALIS 2008 with another 23 countries and is going to participate in this survey when it is again administered in 2018.
